JANUARY 2018 DANCE INTENSIVE

 Train in the legendary Cuban Contemporary Modern dance program while rounding out your experience with a taste of Cuban dance styles such as Casino, Son, Folklore, Rumba & more!

This opportunity is perfect for those who want an to experience intensive training with dancers & musicians on the island! Rather than get the "breadth" experience that our people to people exchanges offer, this is a very focused program... allowing you to advance in your skills quickly! The best part: this is not just for professionals … individuals of any level are welcome to join in as well.

Start each day training in the signature technique workshop in Cuban Modern (a codified technique that fuses Afro-Cuban movement vocabulary with classical ballet and Graham-based modern, with additional inspiration from Cunningham, Sokolow and Limon.)

 

Your program will then be rounded out with additional dance workshops, cultural exchanges, and tours -- so that you get the fully authentic Cuban experience … while also maintaining a program that meets both US & Cuban travel guidelines!
